Stuff the kids have been doing....

Julia has been taking geometry and studying illusions in Math class...




Mike has been studying body parts in French....this is his very cool guy!

We have now started sanding the fence hoping to paint it when the weather gets a little warmer...

The family dance was at the elementary school however the grade six girls made quite an appearance...performing their grade 5 dance from the previous year

as well as the grade 6 boys....

Mike's grade did a square dance....Mike actually showed up for the dance this year as last year he conveniently went to the washroom with a truckload of other boys.

This is Mike's friend dancing ....no he isn't smiling because he is happy to be dancing with Taylor....he's still giggling because Taylor just fell down and he thought it was hilarious ...however...Nick to his left is really swinging!

Wonderful Miracles - by Mike Mengering

There are Miracles all- around us,

Like the birds chirping in the morning,

Or the moose wading through the pond grass,

Or seeing a giant sea turtle,

Or the raging rush of a roller-coaster going down hill,

Or the wolves howling at night by the stars,

Or tasting sweet candy from the factory,

Or smelling fresh donuts from the oven,

Or smelling fresh, home made buns in the morning,

Or the chemical smell of a brand new truck.

Every day, I experience miracles.
