Babbling on about boot camp, buffalo, and big trucks, and beer bellys...

Well I survived my first week at Boot Camp....I actually thought it wouldn't be too challenging as I have been to the gym regularly. It is definitley a challenge. My muscles were very sore the day after "day 1", not necessarily too sore but many muscles that I obviously am not usually working were most definitley worked. Therefore, I felt very sore...and let everyone else know all about it....I am told now, if I go, I cannot complain anymore ...vocally that is, around the house, most specifically to Randy.:) ...the dogs listen well though. Today, I thought I'd pace myself as not to go too fast only to be told .....""Pick it up! It's not a stroll in the park!", from the trainer as I did the Military Crawl...(hate the military crawl) well, I picked it up and felt much better after a while. She's really very good at keeping us all going!

Mike had a Art Show at his school recently, it was a study on Native Art and Culture....
Mike's class submitted "Buffalo", and they all did an excellent job! With lots of help from teachers and volunteers they created ceramic buffalo, painted and decorated. The rest of the school submitted other versions of art depicting the Native Culture....it was an amazing Show!

Above is Mike's "Buffalo Chips"

We suprised Mike with tickets to "Monster Jam" after his birthday... To make a long story short...after about 30 people sat down around us all dressed in 80's garb...and drunk...we finally moved to a little more appropriate seating for our kids...

Okay, a little of the long version...

The guy next to me...dressed in skin tight white pants a yellow shirt, sunglasses, and a long mullet was eating nachos out of one hand and a hamburger out of another turns to me...less than a foot a way and yells "oh yeah" as loud as he can, food all over his mouth and him...I decided yes it was time to move. Kids had a good side show for a little while.

Of course, this didn't include the girls caked in make up, mini skirts, high heals, fish net stockings, making out infront of us while taking digital pictures. Or, the guy with a half shirt and a beer belly who couldn't keep his finger out of his own belly button!

Wow....thats all I have to say!

So, after the side show, we moved and the kids enjoyed the show.

This guy....super tame compared to our company :)
