First day of Boot Camp!

I have to say congratulations to Mike, Julia, and myself :) for passing our blue stripe test....The kids did great! I am so impressed with their memory, they can remember stuff with such amazing simplicity and not worry if they will have a problem reitterating it when they have to. Myself on the other hand, I am going over things in my head over and over, know it all, but still have a hard time getting it out! I must say I was pleased that for the first time, I wasn't the first to be called up for theory and had a little time to catch my breath. This I am sure helped my brain catch up a little.:) Kids came through unscathed....myself, two sore ankles!
Now that we are finished with our testing... I have rewarded myself with.....Boot Camp.

This morning I started "Boot Camp" at the gym...

I have to say I may need to discipline myself with what to eat and when to eat next time!
I am sure a little piece of toast wasn't quite good enough and maybe I should have eaten it a little earlier... the problem is however, the morning is pressed for time and I don't like to eat so early. Working with 6 other women and a trainer was great, it is good to be a little competitive as well as someone telling you to get your butt going! A pat on the back is nice too! With so many of us working with the same trainer it is much more affordable than one on one!
The stations were well thought out, very well set up and creative. Tara did a great job of keeping us all in line and continually moving. After skipping for a minute fast, I realized, as I tasted my orange juice from breakfast that speed was not exactly what I should be striving for but pacing myself may be a little smarter. The stations were challenging and I think this is a great way to shake up your physical activity....sometimes it gets a little boring doing the same things over and over, so I am happy with my first day at "Boot Camp" and I am looking forward for Thursday!

Lets see, my favorite station was the hoola....love the hoola, it massaged me! It actually felt great on my back
......worst....the military crawl...ughh! I guess it is challenging. :(
