Weekend Stuff...

Our weekend was still cold but not freezing! The kids finished their newspapers which seemed to drag on from Thursday to Sunday! finally they finished this afternoon!





Sat. morning we had "Grandpa Willie's" biscuits.... I told the kids Grandpa made these just about once a week or so when I was at home. They loved the biscuits, I think Mike had 3....even the dog loved them.....with lots of butter! We are off to get Mike skates this afternoon and visit the Who's whoo at the Zoo, the food court, and Jugo Juice on our way to pick up Randy from the Airport. Julia bought a book "Puppies for Dummies" ....she thought we could learn a few things.



Kids surprised Randy with cinnamon buns when he got home....they spent an hour in the afternoon slaving over all of the sugar ingredients which included raisins after they were slathered in syrup. Mike says "I'm having corn syrup on my pancakes from now on!" as he licked off his hands...and ate the raisins by handfulls. Randy was pleased to have fresh cinnamon buns after being gone for three days....and so was Lightning.

Lightning again....was into the toothpaste...we now have to hide it everytime we use it. I actually caught him trying to open the drawer that the toothpaste is in

in our bathroom...he does have a

problem!
