the plan was to wait for this litter, had we waited for another year....what a rest that would have been! We could have had our pick of the litter as friends of ours in Sask. had a litter of 10 puppies...actually 12 and 2 died. I can't imagine having 10 puppies that grow that fast and big in my house anywhere! (...and Shannon is thinking...I can't believe she keeps her saint as an indoor dog!) I am sure the kids will be having a bunch of fun.....
As I am typing this Julia is saying "awh! I want another puppy!"
Our one Saint and Henri are all we need, we would be insane to get another puppy and we will be happy with ours who has now moved on from toothpaste to toothbrushes! Yes, we are going out today to buy some more toothbrushes as Mike now lost two and couldn't brush his teeth last night. Not just the little cheap ones these ones have batteries...(which means we have to get them from him soon so he doesn't devour the battery). I tell you, Susan, he isn't as smart as you thought....he doesn't necessarily want the nice minty breath....he doesn't mind yellow oil paint in the form of a tube either! How about that all over the bed! he had yellow spots for a few days! Good thing he is shedding!
You have to love puppies though ...These little guys are going to be sooo adorable very soon...I guess they already are but when they get a little bigger and fluffier, it is a good thing we aren't in Sask. !
