Snow Soccer anyone?

Wow, it snowed last night.....

Yesterday, it was 15 C and we had nice dry streets, it seemed as though we were moving along into the next season....only for it to snow overnight! The dogs loved it, we went for a long walk, it was warm but snowy.

Snow Soccer?? Mike called home at lunch and said he couldn't walk and he needed a ride...hm. Apparently, they were playing soccer in the snow and he was at the bottom of a "dog pile" and hurt his leg. After an afternoon in the hospital and X rays....the answer was a sprained knee. The Doctor looked at his other knee with the huge shark bite like scar and said I think I stitched this up a year ago! And he did!

What is it with knees...

He is recovering very well with ice and a tensor....he may miss TKD testing on Monday night which will really be too bad....maybe a blessing in disguise as he can practise a little more I guess. Swimming begins on Saturday....hopefully that should still go well.

Julia and I will test for our blue stripe on Monday night...we have been studying and practicing. It is getting a little more challenging, I am hoping my ankle stands up to sparring....that should be the last thing we do hopefully so it will work out.
